Road Repairs and Repaving Commences Monday, October 18

Message from Jack Duich:

Hi folks – road repairs and repaving starts next Monday October 18th. High Oaks Trail first (repairs only) with leveling and prep of Saddlebag Trail from the cul-de-sac outward to the end of all those dips. Paving Saddlebag Trail (same areas as prepped) follows Tuesday & Wednesday. You will always have access to your homes though there may be a slight delay if they happen to be right in front of your driveway the moment you wish to exit. Saddlebag Trail’s repaving ends East of the intersection with High Oaks Trail.

CANCELED: 2020 HOA Annual Meeting

The 2020 HOA Annual Meeting and has been CANCELED due to current events.

Reposting message below from Jack Duich:

It is the consensus of our board members that rather than hosting an online/virtual annual meeting, that we postpone until such time that it is safe to meet in person. We’re concerned that trying to hold virtually could hinder participation (though it could improve it), but perhaps just as important is having the opportunity to see & speak with our neighbors in person, once we’re clear of these challenging times. Be assured our normal association duties (paying bills, performing maintenance, processing estoppel letters, etc.), continues unimpeded. There is nothing urgent on our plate that can’t wait.

2020 HOA Annual Meeting Notice

To the property owners of Saddlebag Creek Ranches:

Please note that the annual meeting of the Homeowners Association will take place on
Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Old Miakka United Methodist Church, 1620 Myakka Road, Sarasota, Fl, 34240.

Directions:  South on Verna Road from SR70 past Fruitville. The road becomes Miakka
Road. Church is on the right past Jomar Road.

Please RSVP through one of these options:

Annual Meeting Agenda:

  1. Financials: extraordinary and recurring expenses
  2. Swale/drainage project
  3. Bridle Trail
  4. Front entrance tree trimming and beautification
  5. Future proposed road maintenance projects
  6. Election of new board members

All existing Board members are willing to continue serving another term. If you would like your name added to the ballot for Board of Directors to help guide the future of your community, please contact the Board by Saturday, March 28th. We intend to send out the ballot by April 1st.

Please share this information with your neighbors in case they do not follow these postings.

A Board of Directors Meeting will be held immediately following the Annual Meeting.
