2022 HOA Annual Meeting Election Results

The 2022 HOA Annual Meeting took place on 5/17/2022.

The newly elected 2022 HOA Board of Directors are as follows:

Jack Duich
Jim Moore
Jeff Sherman
Tim Strausbaugh
Marcela Serio (new)

Many thanks to Tom Bardroff for serving on last year’s board and for the remaining members for agreeing to serve another term. Thanks also to Marcela Serio for stepping up to serve on the board.

The first meeting of the new Board of Directors was held immediately following the Annual Meeting on 5/17/2022. The meeting minutes have been posted on the Meeting Minutes page.

2022 HOA Annual Meeting Notice

To the property owners of Saddlebag Creek Ranches:

It is time for the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Saddlebag Creek Ranches Homeowners Association and the Election of the Board of Directors.

  • Date:                 Tuesday, May 17, 2022
  • Time:                7:00 PM
  • Location:        Old Miakka United Methodist Church, 1620 Myakka Road, Sarasota Fl 34240
  • Directions:     South on Verna Road from SR70 past Fruitville. The road becomes Miakka Road. The church is on the right past Jomar Road.

Please email the Board ([email protected]) so they know you received the invite and to notify them whether or not you expect to attend the meeting.

Most existing Board members are willing to continue serving another term. However, the Board needs at least one more member to assure that Board meetings always reach a quorum; and additional owner input and participation always is beneficial. If you would like your name added to the ballot for the Board of Directors to help guide the future of your community, please enter your name in the “Write-In Candidate” section of the Ballot linked below before returning it to the Board, preferably by email.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Community Yard and Tack Sale 3/5/2022

Saddlebag Creek Ranches Community Yard & Tack Sale

  • Saturday, 5 March 2022
  • 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Household, office, tack, tools, yard tools & equipment, sporting goods, games, toys, furniture, etc.

Do you have too much stuff in your garage? Need to get rid of some things?

If you have a lot of stuff to sell, set up in your own driveway/yard.

If you have only a small amount to sell, coordinate with your neighbors for a joint effort.

Please spread the word and enjoy some spring cleaning!
